The online meeting of the IMPACT project, titled “Increasing Migration and Climate Change Public Awareness through Collaboration and Teaching”, was held on 23 April 2026 via Microsoft Teams, with representatives from all partner institutions participating . The main objective of the meeting was to review the progress of the final phase of the project, coordinate upcoming activities, and ensure that all partners are aligned on dissemination and reporting requirements.

During the meeting, each partner provided an update on their national activities, including local workshops, webinars, and dissemination events. Several partners have already successfully delivered webinars with strong participation, while others are preparing events scheduled for May and June 2026. Local workshops are being organised in different formats, often targeting teachers and stakeholders involved in migration and environmental education. In addition, partners reported ongoing progress in translating project materials into their respective languages, which is essential for ensuring accessibility and broader impact.
A significant part of the discussion focused on the project publication. The current draft of the cover was presented, and several improvements were agreed upon. These included updating the EU co-funding logo, correcting the disclaimer text, and ensuring that all partner institutions are properly represented through their logos. It was also decided to include an authors’ or acknowledgement section with a clear citation format. Once these revisions are completed, the document will be shared among all partners for final feedback before each partner submits their translated version for publication on the project website.
The meeting also addressed the requirements for the final project report. Partners were reminded of the importance of collecting comprehensive evidence from all activities, such as participant lists, agendas, screenshots from webinars, evaluation forms, and summary reports. All documentation must be uploaded to a shared folder by the end of June, with a final deadline at the end of July. To support this process, a detailed checklist of required documents will be distributed to ensure consistency and completeness across all partner contributions.
Furthermore, the importance of dissemination and visibility was highlighted. Partners were asked to continuously update the dissemination tracking file with links to social media posts, website content, and any press coverage related to project activities. In addition, a collaborative video compilation will be produced to showcase the project’s results, and partners are encouraged to contribute photos along with relevant descriptions.
The meeting concluded with the confirmation of the next online meeting, which is scheduled for 10 June 2026 at 15:30 CEST. This meeting will focus on reviewing completed activities, assessing the status of documentation, and preparing for the final reporting phase.
In conclusion, the meeting demonstrated that the project is progressing steadily toward its completion, with all partners actively engaged in the final implementation stage. Clear guidance was provided regarding pending tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities, ensuring that the consortium remains on track to successfully finalise the project and maximise its overall impact.
