Larissa ASSENZIO

English Teacher

My name is Larissa ASSENZIO. I’m 47 years old. I’m an English teacher at GPH, in Belgium, in the upper secondary education (4th, 5th and 6th form students both in the transition education and qualifying education).

Experience

I’ve been working at GPH Institute since 2013 but I have been teaching English since 2011. I also taught Spanish for a few years. Before I became a language teacher, I worked many years in the private sector as a sales representative.

Education

In 1999, I got a master’s degree in translation. My Language skills : French : mother tongue, English : C1, Spanish : B2, Brazilian Portuguese : B2/C1,

Carlo CERVILLIERI

Professor

My name is Carlo CERVILLIERI. I’m 41 years old. I’m a social studies and religion teacher at GPH Institute, in Belgium.

Experience

I have been teaching for 4 years now but I have also been a trainer for 5 years in labour-related fields (sales, management, business creation, …). I also worked as a self-employed worker in the events and advertising sectors for 11 years. In addition, I also worked 4 years as a manager in the field of football, in the club of La Louvière (RAAL), in Belgium. During this experience, I participated in the development of a partnership for a European project with the Fedasil Center in Morlanwelz and the Belgian Football Union aimed at promoting the social integration of refugees through sport.

Education

I hold a master’s degree in Labour Studies in 2020 from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and I got a University Certificate in Didactics of Religious and Philosophical Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in 2023.

Charlotte CABALLERO

Teacher

My name is Charlotte CABALLERO. I’m 34 years old. I have been a teacher at GPH Institute in Gosselies, in Belgium, since 2015. I’m happy to teach a Social and Economic Training course for qualifying education students. I also teach Religion courses for students in the last level of secondary education.

Experience

I worked a few years in human ressources sector. Today, one of my objectives is the students’well-being at school. I am actually helping to develop a project to fight against harassment and bullying . I am passionate about travel as a real way to meet and discover different cultures.

Education

I studied at the Free University of Brussels where I first completed a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2011. In 2013 I got a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and then I passed an aggregation in Social and Political Sciences.

D. Sidiropoulos

Director

His research interests focus on the fields of Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT and Education.

Experience

He has been working in Vocational Education as the Director of the Laboratory Center of Katerini and as an IT teacher for 22 years.

Education

Sidiropoulos Dimitrios holds a PhD from the Department of Informatics of the University of Macedonia, an MSc from the University of Wales and a BSc from the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia.

G. Sospiro

co-founded ECEPAA

Gabriele Sospiro co-founded ECEPAA in Brussels, steering the organization towards impactful EU projects on migration.

Experience

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Gabriele serves as an Expert Evaluator for the Horizon Europe program, evaluating projects for the European Commission. His discerning evaluation highlights his impact on shaping cutting-edge research initiatives.

Education

He has a PhD in Social Science, and his research deals with migration, employment, education, labor market dynamics, and the experiences of youth with migrant backgrounds. His commitment to thorough research is reflected in his substantial contributions to these critical areas.

Agnès MATHELART

French Teacher

My name is Agnès MATHELART. I’m 50 years old. I’m a French teacher in the 1st form of lower secondary school at GPH Institute, in Belgium.

Experience

I have been teaching at GPH school for 28 years and I have been responsible for the coordination of European Projects (ERASMUS) since 2006. I have also been in charge of the schedule management at GPH for 8 years now. I’m used to organizing events and I have some project management expertise.

Education

I hold a bachelor’s degree in French and history.
