The transnational meeting for the European Erasmus+ KA2 IMPACT project was held in Valladolid, Spain from 27 to 30 October 2025.On the first day of the meeting, representatives of the NGO Red Incola (partner and host organization in Valladolid) presented the organization and its actions, especially regarding migrants. All participants in the TPM presented their organization, their specialty, and the reasons for participating in this specific project. The project agenda was followed as initially planned and the participants presented the tasks assigned to them for the preparation of the six activities of the toolkit that will be used in the training in Belgium.

Specifically, the Greek team began with the presentation of the activity with a role play on climate and migration. The Spanish team followed with the activity Migration Journey Mapping. Then, the Belgian team continued with the action Data directives: analyzing climate & migration data. Then the Italian team presented the action Photo Voice: Storytelling. In the afternoon of the same day, the presentations continued with the theme, Game-Based learning: climate domino effect and finally Debate: “Should countries accept more climate migrants?. The day ended with a discussion and overall evaluation of the presentations.

On the second day of the project, the IMPACT team visited the PRAE Center (Propuestas Ambientales y Educativas). The first part of the visit included a tour of the facilities. PRAE is an environmental education and awareness center that promotes knowledge and action related to sustainability and ecological responsibility. The center consists of two main spaces: The Environmental Education Resource Center (Centro de Recursos Ambientales – CRA), which hosts exhibitions, workshops and information rooms. The Environmental Education Park (Parque Ambiental), an outdoor natural space of approximately 4 hectares, with hiking trails, various plants and thematic educational spaces. The CRA building was designed with the focus on eco-bioclimatic architecture, the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, reflecting PRAE's commitment to sustainable design and environmental performance. The Environmental Education Park includes various thematic zones, such as: The "Garden of the 3 R's" (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), which promotes recycling and reuse practices through facilities made from recycled materials. The Educational Gardens and Greenhouse (Huegos educativos / Invernadero), where participants learn about agriculture, plant biology and the interdependence between human activity and nature. The "Ecosystems" area, which represents the main ecological zones of the Castilla y León region through native vegetation. The "Fitocalendario", an innovative garden layout where each section symbolizes a month of the year, illustrating the seasonal cycles of plants and the biodiversity. Demonstration areas presenting rainwater collection and reuse systems, natural water purification through plants and the application of solar and renewable energy technologies.

During the second part of the visit, two interactive workshops were held under the guidance of PRAE trainers, with the active participation of all IMPACT project members. The first workshop, entitled “Clima Mural”, included a practical collaborative activity in which participants worked in groups to explore the causes and impacts of climate change, including temperature increase, extreme weather events, energy consumption and impacts on nature, society and biodiversity. The second activity was an educational escape game, where participants solved puzzles and revealed hidden messages related to the journeys made by migrants as a result of climate change. The IMPACT project and the PRAE Center share common goals focused on sustainability education, environmental and social awareness and collaborative learning. Through these activities, they foster a deeper understanding of the connection between the environment and society, while promoting solidarity and collective action to address the global challenges of climate change and migration.

In the afternoon of the same day, the consortium discussed communication and dissemination issues, presented the results so far and assessed the intended goals. The communication and dissemination officer informed the partners in detail about their obligations and the goals they need to achieve. This was followed by a discussion on the preparation of the training in Belgium, determined the working dates, the venue of the seminar and all the relevant required details. The project concluded with a guided tour of the center of Valladolid.
